Tampa Bay - Pinellas, FL
Hello fellow anglers,
Captain Juan here, reporting from the vibrant waters of Tampa Bay, Florida. The fishing scene has been nothing short of exhilarating lately, with some fantastic catches that have left us all grinning from ear to ear.
As we sail out into the bay, the anticipation in the air is palpable. Our target? The sought-after "Big 3" – Tarpon, Redfish, and Snook. These prized species have been showing up in good numbers, providing us with some thrilling battles and rewarding moments. Tarpon's acrobatics are a true spectacle, while Redfish and Snook never fail to test our angling skills. The water temperatures have been ideal, gradually warming up and luring various fish into the shallower waters near mangroves and grass flats. This has led to some exciting inshore action, with Trout, Jack Crevalle, and Flounder joining the mix. The tides have played a crucial role in dictating our strategies, and I'm pleased to report that our careful observations have paid off, resulting in successful outings. Our trusty 21’ Carolina Skiff, paired with the dependable 150 HP Mercury engine, has enabled us to navigate with ease, even in trickier shallow spots. The wireless trolling motor has proven invaluable for stealthily gliding through narrower passages, ensuring we don't miss out on any opportunities. Safety remains paramount, as always. Our vessel is equipped with an EPIRB for added security, and I'm CPR-trained to provide you with complete peace of mind during our adventures. If you're ready to experience the thrill of reeling in these remarkable species against the backdrop of Tampa Bay's stunning vistas, join me aboard Glo 1 Fishing Charters.
